Honor Magic V2 to finally launch in Europe on January 26

Honor launched the Magic V2 smartphone in July 2023 at an event in China. The company promised a European launch later and showcased the device at IFA Berlin without any details on pricing and availability.

Four months after the European unveiling where we had some experience, the wait is finally over. Honor has scheduled a launch event on January 26 at 2 PM CET, where the Magic V2 will be announced along with the exact price tag and availability timeline.

The Magic V2 was the slimmest foldable at launch, and six months after its announcement (if we don’t count the V Purse with a different form factor and limited availability).

It has a slightly smaller footprint when folded than the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max or the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, which means it’s no harder to pocket than a conventional flagship.

Screen bending is an impressive feat of Magic V2. It has triple 50 MP cameras, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a 5,000 mAh battery with 66W charging support.

The launch will take place at the Porsche Experience Center in Leipzig, Germany. We will bring you full details once the event is over.
