Honor teases Magic6 RSR with 100x digital zoom, coming in March

We expected Honor to announce the Magic6 RSR at Mobile World Congress 2024, but instead, we got a short teaser and an announcement date – March.

The video hints at the special look of the Porsche Design Magic 6 and its signature “Flyline” accent. It also gives us a glimpse of the phone’s camera island carved into the bottom, revealing that the main camera will have f/1.4 to f/2.0 dual aperture and support the phone’s 100x periscope zoom.

The Honor Magic6 RSR will be a maxed-out variant of the Magic 6 Pro with largely the same hardware. That means a 1/1.3″ 50MP f/1.4-2.0 main camera, a 1/1.49″ 180MP f/2.6 telephoto shooter, and a 1/2.88″ 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide unit. There’ll be another 50MP camera for selfies – that’s it. The phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with 16GB of RAM, a 5,600mAh battery with 80W wired and 66W wireless charging, and a 6.8-inch 1280x2800px LTPO OLED with a peak brightness of 5,00nit.
