Infinix Hot 40i lands in India with 50 MP camera, 256GB of storage

Infinix originally unveiled the Hot 40 series, which includes the Hot 40i, in early December. And today the Hot 40i has finally arrived in India as the successor to – you guessed it – the Hot 30i.

The Hot 40i features a 6.6-inch 720×1612 90 Hz LCD screen, Unisec T606 SoC, 8GB RAM with support for 8GB virtual RAM, 256GB expandable UFS 2.2 storage, dual SIM support (most can fit two SIMs), as well as embedded power. button.

A side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP53 rating for dust and splash resistance and a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

On the back is a 50 MP f/1.6 camera, along with a 0.08 MP decorative auxiliary lens. For selfies you get a 32 MP f/2.2 snapper with an LED flash. Unfortunately the phone runs Android 13 with XOS 13 and no updates are promised here.

The Infinix Hot 40i will be available from Flipkart on February 21 in Starlit Black, Palm Blue, Horizon Gold and Starfall Green. The price? Normally INR 9,999, but there is a special launch price of INR 8,999
