OnePlus launched the 12R internationally this year, for the first time (previous R models were only in India). And the company seems very proud of the device, saying things like “The flagship killer is back” and even launching a special Zenshin Impact Edition.
Today the folks at 9to5Google spotted a new ad (presumably on Facebook) in which OnePlus tells you to upgrade your Pixel 12R to “get more.”
It’s interesting that OnePlus specifically targets Pixel owners. That’s a guaranteed $100 off without much hassle.
And if you trade-in certain devices in good working condition, you can get an additional bonus, up to $450. So in theory you could also get a 12R for free – in reality it doesn’t work that way since the maximum trade-in amount is always for top-of-the-line devices and we’re assuming no one is trading in for an iPhone 15 Pro. OnePlus 12R.
