Oppo A59 has appeared online with a full specs sheet. According to X user yabhishekd, the phone will retain a lot of hardware from the Oppo A58 lineup, such as the camera and battery capacity, but the big improvement will be the Dimensity 6020 chipset that supports 5G connectivity.
The A59 will have a 6.56” LCD with a notch for the 8 MP selfie camera. The panel’s resolution isn’t mentioned, but we know it will have a 90 Hz refresh rate.
The rear cameras are fairly basic – 13MP main + 2MP secondary, a setup we’ve seen on some Reno devices.
The 5,000 mAh battery will support 33W charging, but the device will have a thin profile – just 8.12 mm thick, weighing 187 grams. Other listed specs are ColorOS 13.1, based on Android 13.
The leakster says the phone will be offered in two variants in India – 4/128 GB for INR14,999 ($180/€165) or 6/128 GB for INR16,999 ($205/€185).
