Samsung Galaxy S24,S24+ to be cheaper in EU; North America really coming with SD8 Gen 3

The Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra are expected to launch on January 17 with similar designs but improved chipset performance, according to leaks earlier this month.

The latest report from the Netherlands suggests that the S24 and S24+ will be priced slightly lower. At the same time, an alleged leaked spec sheet suggests that the two non-Ultra flagships will arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 only in the US and Canada, with the Exynos 2400 treatment in all other markets.

The image above may be a presentation slide prepared by Samsung’s marketing department for salespeople handling the devices; It could very well have been created by a well-wisher who wrapped all the existing leaks into an image and gave it a Samsung font for a legitimate look.

Coming back to the price, the Galaxy S24 and S24+ might be priced slightly lower than the S23 at launch, but the Ultra will remain relatively the same. There may be slight deviations from one EU country to another depending on currency exchange rates, local regulations and sales campaigns.

Next month’s Galaxy Unpacked event is also expected to be the landing stage for One UI 6.1. The Galaxy S24 trio’s interface should come out of the box with battery protection and AI features for clear calls with real-life replication.
